Caroline is an HR specialist and has worked in various industries throughout her career. She caught the HR bug working in the Personnel Department just before her discharge from the US Navy. She has a BA in Speech Communications, an MPA in HR Management and Organizational Change from California State University East Bay.

She maintains her certification in PHR (Professional in Human Resources) designation from the HR Certification Institute and her SHRM-CP from the Society for Human Resource Management. As a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the local Wichita SHRM chapter, Caroline stays on top of the ever-changing rules and regulations that govern HR, as well as the current trends in employment.
From leading HR departments as an employee to consulting for the last several years, Caroline has extensive experience in the basics such as compliance, payroll, and benefits; as well as the more difficult employee relations issues including harassment claims, layoffs and RIFs, and auditing unemployment claims. She has directed the startup and management of a full spectrum of HR operations, systems, and programs. Custom HR Solutions can provide flexible guidance that fits your organization or company needs.
